We can’t deny it. We really love film grain.
The new sensors used in digital film cameras make the footage captured extremely sharp and clean, which is not always a good thing. Sometimes what we really crave is texture and imperfection: images with a raw, retro appearance, a little less digital and a little more analogue. And this is where film grain comes in, as an artistic touch that can give your footage character. We use it ourselves all the time, sometimes more subtly, and other times more boldly.
we have created something truly unique. Sure, scanned film grain is alright, but it also has some characteristics that don’t always fit with our way of finishing a project. In particular, it adds a certain degree of colour to the image, which is often undesirable. That’s why we prefer our colour free digital film grain:it doesn’t look like a layer added on top of the images. Instead, it is integrated into your footage in a natural way, while preserving those variations in tone.
This pack includes the most popular and widely used grain stocks, de grano más conocidos y empleadosfrom ultra clean 65mm to super raw 8mm. We have also added a grain with colour, so you will have a full palette available. Each of the files has been rigorously tested and used during our own projects. And there is no filler! All of the film grains in this pack are interesting and suitable for actual use.

All of the files are delivered in 2K and 4K. The 2K grain tends to work better for HD and 2K projects, while the 4K is preferable when working in 3K and 4K. This allows their size to be perfectly adjusted to the size of the image.
