We’ve been working with Sony cameras for more than a decade, but we could never seem to find a LUT that we were completely happy with.
That’s because working in Slog-3 requires some special considerations: the Sony sensors and their colour science tend to push the image towards magenta tonalities, so achieving beautiful skin tones and proper colour separation can be a challenge. This is why we decided to create our own multi purpose LUT: ONE LUT TO RULE THEM ALL! We wanted to use it as an on set monitor and also as a post production tool, while getting everything we could out of those sensors. So we went to work on an emulation of Kodak 500T film combined with the look of Kodak 2383 colour print film.

It preserves skin tones while also giving you elegant colour separation, and it creates contrast without crushing the darker areas of your composition or making the brighter areas too bright.
