Carefully crafted film emulations of the KODAK VISION3 500T 5219 and KODAK VISION3 50D 5203 colour negative film types.
We work with RED cameras every day, so we’ve developed two LUTs to assist us with our own workflow: one as a monitor LUT and another as a base for our colour grading. These have been designed as accurate replicas of the Kodak 500T and 50D colour negative film types, which both produce a distinctive looks cinematic look.
INTERIOR
An emulation of KODAK 500T 5219 film, primarily designed for our indoor filming when we work with dim light and a mix of colour temperatures. This emulation achieves a beautiful separation of tones and fantastic contrast, without crushing the darker areas of the composition. It also slightly desaturates the warm tones, while keeping intact the cool bluish-greens in the shadows.
EXTERIOR
This is an emulation of Kodak 50D 5203, which we created for footage filmed in high contrast daylight. It produces warm colour and intense skin tones, while preserving a vibrant palette of greens and blues and offering a very balanced result.
We have stress tested and verified all of them in our own work. This pack includes 33 cube and 65 cube LUTs.
